The Coeur d'Alene Fire Department no longer has a volunteer program.
We have proveded some volunteer information from some of the surrounding area fire departments.

Northern Lakes Fire (NLFPD):  Coordinator is Tyler Drexel.  He can be reached at 772-5711 or 659-2716 (cell) 

Kootenai County Fire & Rescue (KCFR):  Coordinator is Tom Berrett.  They accept applications in late summer for fall classes.

ATHOL/TIMBERLAKE/BAYVIEW areas: They hold a 60 hour rural basic Firefighter course when they have at least 5 applicants.  Go to timberlakefire.com and click on “Join us”.  Phone 683-3333 or 683-3100.

OSBURN:  Can apply at Kellogg or Pinehurst stations.  Phone 752-1101.
