2008 Employee of the Year
Tom Hiltenbrand’s selection as Coeur d’Alene Fire Employee of the Year reflects the outstanding job he has done this year. In particular, this award recognizes that he has been an exemplary role model of customer service. The person nominating Tom for this award stated that ... quote - "If one wanted to find the firefighter that most emulates the department dedication to both internal and external customer service Tom is the candidate." Tom is known for his smiling, positive attitude, hard work, and great compassionate customer service. He is an effective and efficient program manager, and his tasks are consistently completed ahead of schedule. He is always coming up with suggestions that make the department a better organization. Tom, like the others given this honor in the past, is the type of employee, who puts our City, its citizens and Cd’A Fire first and ahead of all else.
